During the holiday season, people come together to celebrate and enjoy each other’s company. For many, it’s a time for traditions and creating memories with family and loved ones. The festive atmosphere, the delicious food, and the exchange of gifts all contribute to the season’s joy.
For others, the holiday season is all about giving to those who don’t have enough to celebrate so they, too, can be merry and festive.
Last December 2022, Greater Heights Foundation demonstrated the true spirit of the holiday season by donating to our executive’s outreach program in Camaya-an, Loboc, Bohol. It was a heartwarming occasion filled with fun games, activities, and prizes that made children smile. The packed Jollibee meals were among the day’s highlights, serving as a bit of holiday indulgence to the young ones.
We recognize that education is essential to a child’s future success and is more of a right than a privilege. To foster young readers, critical thinkers, and creative souls, we donated a little bookshelf stocked with books and school supplies to the Triple Union Elementary School.
Although the offering was simple, we could not deny the children’s joy and holiday spirit, which made everything worthwhile. The holiday season reminds us to be grateful for what we have and to share our blessings with those in need because it’s the little acts of kindness and generosity that make a big difference in the lives of others.
